Nestled in the stunning vistas of Sedona, Steakhouse89 stands as a beacon for meat lovers seeking a quality dining experience. This charming steakhouse—located at 2620 W State Rte 89A—is not just about the perfectly grilled steaks; it's about crafting an atmosphere where delicious food, attentive service, and post-meal satisfaction collide.

At Steakhouse89, the menu reads like a love letter to steak enthusiasts. Indulge your palate with starters like the Lobster Bisque Cappuccino, featuring tender lobster meat enriched with cognac froth and lemon oil for only $9. For something heartwarming, the Seared Scallops served with a delicately flavored lemon butter are a must-try at $13. The Crab Bites with avocado purée and mango bring a tantalizing burst of flavor that makes it a favorite among diners at $16. Dive into the Beef Carpaccio for a melt-in-your-mouth experience accented with garlic aioli and arugula.

Mains are unapologetically steak-centric, showcasing premium cuts like the lush Ribeye Steak that some diners have found simply adequate, while others felt it exceeded expectations. Diners rave about the Ossobuco, deemed fantastic by satisfied guests who appreciate its tenderness and flavor.

The ambiance at Steakhouse89 is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy haven amidst the energetic allure of Sedona. Patrons can unwind in stylish booths that encourage conversation and relaxation, all while enjoying the live music that adds a delightful touch to the dining experience. Customers appreciate the friendly service, especially from staff members who go the extra mile to ensure every need is catered to.

However, it's essential to note that experiences can vary; some guests have mentioned concerns about certain dishes being oversalted or lacking pizzazz—suggesting a small room for refinement in the kitchen. Yet, loyal customers continue to return, often praising the overall quality in relation to price, and occasionally noting that the restaurant offers a true steakhouse experience reminiscent of the upscale dining scene.

The Greenhouse 89 salad options provide a refreshing counterpoint to the rich meat offerings. The Beefsteak Tomato & Burrata Salad, for instance, brings a refreshing zing of flavor with its arugula and basil for just $16. For the health-conscious, the Organic Spinach Salad is a delightful mix of flavors for a reasonable $12.

As you experience the culinary delights at Steakhouse89, you may find yourself enchanted not just by the food, but by the charm of Sedona itself. With ample parking and proximity to stunning attractions, such as the Red Rock State Park and the iconic Chapel of the Holy Cross, this steakhouse makes for a perfect pit-stop after a day of exploring.

In conclusion, Steakhouse89 is more than just a meal; it's an experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or looking for a satisfying dinner after a day of adventure, this steakhouse offers a delightful blend of flavors, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere. Dont believe the bad reviews! This place was really good! Service and food were excellent. We were seated in a cozy circle booth by the bar. Our server and bartender Destine was awesome! She made me a surprise mocktail and found out what foods were with a gluten-free option. Almost everything on the menu except for the pasta dishes are, this place is a yes! The osso-buco is fantastic!

Dinner was ok, the lamb was very salty the mashed potatoes were ok the mac and cheese was kind of bland my husband had the ribeye steak and he said it was just ok, too much pepper, I ordered a gin martini and it was too watered down the ceasar salad was dry but my burrata salad was the best part of dinner. The service was there but it wasnt the best. Restaurant was overpriced for what it was after hearing from everyone that this was the best place in town we were let down. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because there was a singer that played very well and sang the songs just right, he made our night otherwise the rating would be lower.

It's a decent steakhouse, we went on a Friday, it was not fully occupied, hence we got lost min reservation. It's off the downtown, but not very far. Food and drinks were good! They had live music . Parking is very convenient!

Made reservations for 6:15pm, place was shockingly empty, maybe three other guests, but we’re in Sedona of course and many are out site-seeing until dark, and we did notice as we were leaving many others arriving. We ordered and Dave took our meals down. Dave was super pleasant, kind, and just made you feel comfortable, educating us on the menu, went over the special of the evening “surf and turf” which two out of four of us ordered. Though we didn’t get one of the four beverages we ordered for my teen son, he sucked it up and drank water. We asked him we could order and he refused and we all moved on. Dinner was lovely, food was good, I honestly would not scream to mom about packing the bags to come and eat here for the price, but it was good. Flavor great, steak I think quick to cook so outside a bit charred (maybe grill a bit on the hot side), and we had the filet mignon. The au gratin potatoes were pretty darn good, and the asparagus was from top to bottom tender. My wife’s salmon was good too and the dressing with it. All and all we truly were pleased and we are no food critics, but we’ve had dining experience around the world at some amazing great places and I’d say it’s a place to check out for sure while in Sedona. The front lobby bathroom area, it shows some great picture what seemed to be the owner and others, some famous some not I presume which was pretty neat. All and all we were grateful for a wonderful dinning experience and for me as a father and a husband to treat my family with moments and memories that’s the “icing on the cake!” And to conclude, the cheese cake was to die for! Thanks Steak89 for an amazing evening during the 2024 Memorial Day weekend, and thank you all men and women that have and do fight for our freedoms because none of this would exist if we didn’t have you and your amazing sacrifices!

We were warned by multiple people that for the price, there are better places to eat, and in hindsight, they were right. The place tries to come off as upscale, but the tables, floors, chairs, etc, are all beaten up. We waited 10 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation and there weren't many people there. The calamari was greasy. The NY strip steak was pretty good, and the filet mignon was excellent. But the hamburger was way overcooked, like leather. The veggies were overcooked as well. We had ordered some pasta with the meal, but that came out after we were already done with the main course. Management gave us a free desert to compensate, and it was delicious. We actually tried a few of the deserts, and they were all fantastic. Overall, I can't recommend Steakhouse89 based on the price and my experience. I won't be back. Simply put, you can find better food and better ambiance for the price at the plethora of other places to eat in Sedona. Oh, and the waiter at the next table was LOUD and put his hand on my wife's shoulder when asking her a question (and not a polite tap to get her attention). Dude.. don't touch the customers, ever.

Based off other reviews I was very hesitant about keeping my reservation. We had a 600 reservation for Saturday. We were seated promptly and our server was so fun. I had prime rib and my partner had filet mignon. It was all cooked perfectly and everything came out beyond our expectations. We have been to quite a few expensive steakhouses and this was very good for the prices.
